What we do

Six ways to
work with us.

From an in-and-out two-hour consultation to a two-year whole-house build. Every engagement begins the same way — a phone call and a home visit.

01 · Signature service

Full-Service Residential Design

Our anchor service and the one most of our clients hire us for. We take a home from a first sketch on a napkin to the final picture hung on the wall, and everything between.

02 · Room-focused

Kitchen & Bath

The two rooms most homeowners live in and most designers rush. We treat them like small buildings — with proper plans, joinery drawings and stone slab visits — because they earn every dollar you spend on them.

Typical scope: layout studies, cabinet elevations, appliance and fixture spec, tile and stone selection, plumbing coordination, install oversight, punch list.

Typical fee: from $14,000 for a single room · from $22,000 combined.

03 · Whole-home

Renovation & Additions

Southern California has more good bones than you'd think — Spanish Revivals in South Park, mid-century ranches in Clairemont, craftsman bungalows in North Park. We work with your architect, or introduce you to one of ours, to rework existing structures without erasing what makes them.

Includes feasibility, permit-ready construction drawings, coordination with structural and MEP, contractor bidding, site visits, and finish oversight.

Furnishing & Styling

For homeowners whose architecture is already right and only need help making rooms feel loved. We source furniture, rugs, art and light, install everything in a day, and leave with a set of care notes.

Typical fee: from $9,500 design fee + procurement.

05 · Small & considered

Boutique Commercial

We take on a small number of hospitality, wellness and independent retail interiors each year — projects where the atmosphere of the space is inseparable from the brand behind it. Recent work includes a ceramics boutique in Little Italy, a therapy practice in Mission Hills and a natural-wine bar in South Park.

Design Consultation

For homeowners who mostly want to do the work themselves and just need an experienced set of eyes for an afternoon. We walk your home, answer any question, take notes, and follow up two days later with a written summary — including paint direction, layout sketches and a short vendor list.

Flat fee: $650 for up to two hours on-site in San Diego County.

Good fit

Who we tend
to work best with.

A short honest note on where the studio adds the most value — and where we probably aren't the right hire.

We're a good fit when…

  • You want a home that will look right in fifteen years, not fifteen months.
  • You value quiet colour, honest material and considered joinery.
  • You are willing to spend a little more up front so you spend nothing again for a decade.
  • You want one point of contact, one honest budget and no surprises.

We're probably not the right studio when…

  • You need everything installed inside six weeks.
  • You want a strictly trend-led, high-contrast interior.
  • You are looking for the lowest-fee designer in San Diego.
  • You want to make every decision by committee. We work best with one or two decision-makers.
